What is RPL?

Recognition of Prior Learning, generally known as RPL is a form of assessment to identify knowledge that you already hold, based on your experience and/or previous qualifications held.

The process uses evidence that you provide to your trainer, this can come from previous certificates/qualifications you may hold, experience gained through work, photos of you conducting tasks and any other non-formal learning.

Generally, you will also go through a competency conversation with your trainer, where they will ask you a variety of questions, specific to the skill you are trying to RPL.
